Fees and referrals
The 20% fee, the 3% referral share that comes out of it, and how a referrer gets fixed to a wallet.
The fee
RescueFi keeps 20% of each token it moves, taken inside the same transaction. Your safe wallet receives the other 80%. Nothing is charged for a token that fails to move. The review screen shows the exact split per token before you sign.
You also pay the network's gas for the rescue transaction, through your sponsor wallet.
Referrals
Anyone can share an invite link made from their own address. When someone they invited completes a rescue, 3% of each rescued token goes to the inviter's address, in that token, in the same transaction. It comes out of RescueFi's 20%; the person rescuing still receives 80%.
How a referrer gets fixed to a wallet
- Before a compromised wallet's first successful rescue, the inviter is whoever's link you opened last. You can remove them on the review screen.
- The moment that first rescue succeeds, its referrer is attached to that compromised wallet for good. Every later rescue of the same wallet uses the same referrer, whatever links were opened since.
- A first rescue without a referrer fixes the wallet to none. A referrer can never be added to it afterwards.
