Getting started
What RescueFi does, what you need before you start, and what it costs.
RescueFi moves what is left in a compromised wallet, tokens and NFTs, to a wallet you control, in one transaction, before whoever has your key can take it.
What you need
- The compromised wallet's private key. The rescue is signed by that wallet, in your browser. The key never leaves the page.
- A safe wallet address. Where the rescued tokens go. Use a wallet whose keys were never exposed, ideally a new one.
- A little native currency for gas. ETH on Ethereum, BNB on BNB Smart Chain, and so on. The app tells you the exact amount and gives you two ways to pay it.
The three steps
- Wallets & Assets. Pick the chain, paste the compromised key, choose the tokens and NFTs the app finds, and enter the safe wallet.
- Review & Pay Gas. Check everything on one screen, sign in your browser, then fund the gas by connecting a wallet or sending to the address shown.
- Monitor. Watch the rescue get sent and confirmed, token by token.
What it costs
RescueFi keeps 20% of each token it moves; your safe wallet receives 80%. NFTs move with no fee. Nothing is charged for an asset that fails to move. You also pay the network's gas for the one rescue transaction. See Fees and referrals.
